Air Source Heat Pumps are low carbon heating systems, offering better energy efficiency & low carbon footprints.

 

They extract warmth from the air outside throughout the year including winter months with minus temperatures and transfers the heat to the inside of your home.

 

How Do Air Source Heat Pumps Work?

They work in a very similar way to a Fridge or Freezer but work in reverse. Warm air is pulled across the outer coil and warms up the refrigerant liquid inside and turns it into gas.

 

The pump compresses the gas to increase its temperature which is then passed through a heat exchanger to your heating within your home.Air Source Heat Pumps also provide ample heat to keep your hot water tank charged providing plenty of hot water for your home.

Even though the pump uses electricity it is uses less energy than what it can produce, making it energy efficient.
